About the CheatCodes.com FAQ Authors Program
The CheatCodes.com FAQ Authors Program was designed to make it easy for you to write, edit, publish, manage permissions, distribute, and update your FAQs with your Web browser, and make sure you get the credit you deserve for all your hard work.
We Don't Steal Your Work
Unlike some other sites, we never take credit for other people's work. All of us on the CheatCodes.com Staff are FAQ Authors ourselves, and we've faced the same problems that you have. Like posers stealing your FAQ and taking credit for it. Or sites linking to outdated versions of your FAQ or posting your FAQ without asking your permission.
We do things differently. We display all FAQs in their own browser window, in plain-text format, with no advertisements. We don't charge any money to view our content. We always ask for author permission before we post a FAQ. We always keep FAQ author credits intact and we require our content partners to do the same.
You Get Total Control
As a CheatCodes.com FAQ Author, you retain total control over your FAQs. When you sign in to our private Authors Only area, you'll get quick, easy access to all of your FAQs on one page, even if you've written for more than one game or platform.
We also provide tools to let you create, edit, submit, update, and manage all your FAQs right in your Web browser, as well as real-time statistics and rankings of your FAQs from the people who read them.
You can choose to allow readers to send contributions and updates to your FAQs directly to you through our Web site, while sheilding your email address to protect you from SPAM.
It's Easy to Enroll
To enroll in the CheatCodes.com FAQ Authors Program, all you need to do is:
- Create a free CheatCodes.com Member Account
- Sign in and review our FAQ Authors Program Agreement
- Submit at least one FAQ within 30 days of your enrollment
If you already have a FAQ included on our site, but you haven't received proper credit for it, please enroll in the FAQ Authors Program then contact us so we can link your FAQ to your account.
We Protect Our FAQ Authors
No, we don't sell our email lists. And no, we won't SPAM you. And yes, we work hard to protect your copyrights and work with you to help protect your rights in any way we can - especially when others try to take credit for your work. Keeping our FAQ Authors happy is crucial to the success of our site, so we are always open to your questions and feedback and we're quick to add features to our FAQ Authors Program based on your suggestions.
